Sarah qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2001 and achieved an MSc Specialist Community Public Health Nursing in 2013. Sarah has 21+ years of experience in the NHS, 4 years in general practice and was a Nursing Officer in the British Army serving twice in Iraq (including active service). She proudly received the title of Queens Nurse in 2022 in recognition of her commitment to learning, leadership and excellence in patient care, regarding her development of Core Clinical Supervision. Sarah project managed the roll out of the Core Model of Supervision for Multi Professionals in Primary Care across Yorkshire & the Humber, now focused on Humber & North Yorkshire. Coordinated and delivered the provision of: Train the Trainer course; post training follow-up support; evaluation; supporting the development of trainers. As Lead Clinician for Quality, Standards & Compliance, Haxby Group, Sarah provides leadership across aspects of quality improvement, safeguarding and clinical compliance needs. Sarah is an active member of the Wellbeing Team promoting clinical supervision. Haxby Group were the first General Practice in Yorkshire & the Humber (possibly nationally) to pilot the model in practice. Sarah has adapted the Core Supervision Model and is currently undertaking a Safeguarding Supervision pilot supporting safeguarding administration staff.
