“General Practice isn’t broken, we are at the front line providing high quality care, despite increased demand caused by increased health inequalities, poverty, depravation and now compounded by the cost-of-living raises having a detrimental impact on all social determinants of health. We transformed almost overnight to deliver total triage, address the covid emergency response, the covid vaccination programme and we will rise to the challenge of restoration and recovery of the NHS. General Practice is central to the integration of services, that are meaningful in the delivery of safe, effective and efficient patient care. The PMA offers the opportunity for everyone in general practice and broader health and wellbeing system to continually build their skills and their professional standing – and to become the leaders driving change.”
