Dr Sonia Ashraf is a GP partner in a large south Birmingham practice, Hall Green Health. She is also the Medical Director for Cancer for Birmingham and Solihull ICB where she has been involved in a number of pathway redesign and transformational work for urgent suspected cancer referrals as well as opening GP direct access to imaging to allow cancers to be diagnosed early. She is the Deputy Clinical Director for the West Midlands Cancer Alliance. This is the largest Cancer Alliance in the Country covering 6 ICBs in the region that focus on delivering national cancer objectives.
