Vicki has been a DSN since 2005 and has worked across both primary and secondary care in Birmingham, Liverpool and now the EDEN team at Leicester Diabetes Centre since 2021. She has an MSc in Diabetes Practice and is a non-medical prescriber. Her interests are type 2 diabetes in primary care, diabetes technology and type 3c diabetes. Vicki is also a member of the DSN Forum UK leadership team and part of the MDT Diabetes 101 twitter team. She was awarded the Diabetes Quality in Care (QiC) Health Care Professional of the year in 2020 and won two further QiC awards in 2021 for her work with Diabetes 101.
